Online Therapy for Neurodivergent Adults
A warm, practical and neuroaffirming approach
Many of my clients have spent years feeling different, overwhelmed or misunderstood.
Some come to therapy after receiving an ADHD or autism diagnosis. Others are exploring whether neurodivergence might explain lifelong patterns of stress, perfectionism, burnout, anxiety or difficulties in relationships.
You do not need a diagnosis to benefit from therapy.
Together, we explore how your mind works, what has helped you survive, and how you can create a life that fits you rather than constantly trying to fit into expectations that were never designed for you.
My areas of expertise
I primarily work with adults experiencing:
ADHD and executive functioning challenges
Autism and autistic traits
Giftedness and twice-exceptionality (2e)
Chronic stress and burnout
Anxiety and perfectionism
Emotional overwhelm and rejection sensitivity
Self-esteem and identity
Relationships and life transitions
Many of my clients are academics, healthcare professionals, creatives, entrepreneurs and people who have always felt "too much", "too sensitive" or "too different".
My approach
I believe that people make sense.
Rather than asking "What's wrong with you?", we explore "What happened, what do you need, and what works for your unique nervous system?"
My work combines Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotion-Focused Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in a way that is tailored to each individual.
I am an active therapist and our conversations are both reflective and practical. My goal is that every session leaves you with a deeper understanding of yourself and something concrete that you can bring into everyday life.
Neurodiversity-affirming therapy
I do not see ADHD or autism as problems that need fixing.
Instead, we explore how your cognitive profile influences your emotions, relationships, work and daily life.
Together we develop strategies that fit your brain, your energy levels and your values—whether that means reducing stress, improving executive functioning, navigating relationships or building a more sustainable life.
Online therapy
All sessions are held online via secure video consultation.
Many clients appreciate the flexibility of attending therapy from home or from anywhere in the world. Being in a familiar environment can make it easier to focus, regulate emotions and integrate what we work on into everyday life.
About me
I am a licensed psychologist based in Copenhagen, Denmark, and have worked as a therapist since 2010 and as a psychologist since 2014.
Since 2016 I have specialised in working with neurodivergent adults, particularly ADHD, autism and giftedness. Alongside therapy, I provide supervision, teaching and workshops for organisations and professionals.
I regularly engage in continuing professional development and have extensive training in Internal Family Systems (Level 2), Emotion-Focused Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
Is this the right place for you?
You are welcome whether you are newly diagnosed, self-identifying, highly masking, questioning your experiences, or simply looking for a psychologist who understands neurodiversity without trying to make you fit a predefined mould.
